Sorry but Halo nor Left 4 Dead exist for Playstation.
Is Counter Strike: Source for Playstation?? Never heard of it.

I do enjoy playing Modern Warfare 3 though :)
I also enjoy playing Guitar hero.. I used to play that a lot before my sister took her PS back

- Well, in each game you play as a protagonist who ends up leading a war against another country or empire. One of the main tasks in the game, is to recruit as many people as possible to help fight against the opposing force. In each game, there are about 108 characters that can join the hero, the hero is included in the 108... so it's more like 107. Most characters either participate in normal battles, war battles or help in another form (Like opening up a shop).
Another big factor to the games are something called "Runes", in the Suikoden world.... there are 27 true runes. Each have a specific power and all are very powerful and whoever possesses one is immortal from sickness and aging, they can only die physically, like if they were shot with an arrow or something.
Usually, the protagonist winds up with a true rune or a rare rune associated with one.
The true runes have children called runes, which come in all sorts of types that most characters can use.
Runes are also the form of magic as well; once a character has room for a rune and they can use it... the player goes to a rune master to attach it on the specific character.
Instead of the usual MP, Suikoden has a different way on using magic runes. Each rune has a number of uses, once the uses are up, the character has to get rest for it to regain it's power.
Each spell has different amounts, the most strongest ones have less than the weaker spells. But it also depends on the magic ability of the character as well, if they aren't good with magic, they will not really get any spells.
The gameplay, unlike most games have a 6 character party. With the variety of different characters, there are various weapons and many characters have special runes that other characters do not have and cannot have.
Each game takes place in a different time and a different region of the world.
Suikoden I takes place in the Scarlet Moon Empire, Suikoden II takes place in Dunan and is 3 years after the events of the first game (You can also recruit the hero of the first game in this one), Suikoden III takes place in the Grasslands/Zexen and 15 years after the second game.
Suikoden IV takes place 150 years before the first game and in a place called the Island Nations and Suikoden V takes place 6 years before the first game, in a country called Falena which is mentioned a few times in the previous games.
Each game has some returning characters, with the second game having at least a quarter of familiar faces.
There are three characters that do appear in every game, despite the time differences in each game.
There is Jeane, the mysterious rune mistress who according to the creators DOES not have a true run, so fans speculate how she is in all five games and does not look different (She just wears less and less per game).
There is Viki, the goofy Teleportress who can teleport the hero and company anywhere in the region. She also always accidentally teleports herself through time. In the fifth game she appears out of no where in a cut scene and even asks where she is.
Then there is Leknaat, who is a strange woman with a true rune known as the Blue Gate rune (It has the ability to summon monsters from other worlds). She usually appears to help each hero; she does not do this in the third game, she just appears in the ending.
