Minecraft Xbox Edition was released earlier in the year although, I haven't actually gotten that game as I'm currently content with the PC version of the game.

What are your thoughts on this edition of Minecraft?

Well I never was a fan of Minecraft to begin with .I don't own a Xbox so I don't really have a say in this unfortunately.

I tend to stick to the PC game though as the Xbox Edition is currently many versions behind the current PC version.

I'm interested in the XBOX version, as computers can lag because of everything else on your computer. Which happened to my minecraft... although it's fine now.. I pretty much have a time limit before it starts to lag. So, it would be nice to get the XBOX version so I don't have to worry about it.

One problem with the Xbox Edition is that Xbox specs are generally inferior to modern PC specs (although, it does have the benefit of being specialised to gaming) so, there are limitations such as maps a thousand blocks in size or so and the current version is equivalent to that of the PC betas in terms of functionality due to it being fairly new.

I play the XBLA Minecraft Version and I truely enjoy it as it consumes some of my time that I am not with my new Girlfriend and it keeps me occupied instead of doing nothing all day. The Achievements could be a bit more expanded upon and they could add more as well as update the version of the XBLA Version as it stands at Minecraft 1.7.3 of the computer version before the official version was released along with the Adventure Update in Minecraft 1.8

That is just my thoughts.

If only playing Minecraft on the xbox was as good as it is online. Shame.
