Andy Murray claimed Wimbledon glory at last on Sunday, demolishing Roger Federer in the Olympic men's final to win his first gold medal and avenge his Wimbledon final defeat against the world No.1.
Murray posted a resounding 6-2 6-1 6-4 victory inflicting the biggest defeat on the Swiss maestro at the All England Club just a month after suffering his heartbreaking loss to the world No.1 on the same court.
He became the first Briton to win a men's singles gold medal since 1908 in what he called the biggest win of his life.
