This is a annoying pattern that most of us probably picked up by now.

Nintendo seems to like doing this just so they make money. Well, why doesn't Nintendo just make one game and that's the improved version? I always hatted buying the first game just to find out there was a better game coming out in two years with better features.

What are your thoughts about this?

I always thought it was a bit unfair! I remember getting Pokemon Crystal when already having Silver. It was only slightly different. But other than that, most of it was pretty much the same, which made it kind of boring too.

At first I thought it was cool and all because the improved version had more pokemon and features. But now I know that they're just a waste a money and not worth buying anymore.

The reason why I say the games aren't worth buying anymore is because it all has the same plot. You basically do the same thing over and over in every single game.

Beat all gym leaders > Try to catch them all > Become Champion > etc..

I wish I've learned Game Freak's Pokemon-Game pattern sooner. So I would've just got one good game and not buy the other one with less features.
