What was the first forum you ever joined? How old were you when you first came across a forum? How did you find forums?

I got into forums about 3 years ago. I was a moderator at a site that closed down due to trolls.

I quit the forums for a while.
Then as I was searching for construction photos of the new World Trade center construction, I found two forums
Skyscraperpage
Skyscrapercity

Then later this year I found City data which I love.

Then I found forumotion, created my own failed forum and joined New Random which I'm a happy member of.

And that's the story, haha :)

That happened to me too, except it didn't close down. I left a forum because the Admins were trolls and mostly every member there were trolls too.

Everyone fails sometimes, I mean look at me. I left my founder position at my old forum, got IP banned from it and now have uRandom! Don't give up Chris, keep trying!

I think the first time I got into forums was around 2009.. I was bored with my life and wanted to pass the time from when I got home from school. I didn't stay on them for long though (except for one forum I stayed with for years). I just started getting back on them in 2012 though.

I tried joining a Mario kart 7 forum not to long ago but it was severely inactive. I made a introduction post but no one said welcome.. lol.

Those mean mario kart people... I hate how when I join a forum barely anyone welcomes me :*(

I first got into forums over the summer between grades in middle school I believe. It was the forum for Cartoon Network Fusion Fall. However, I learned about Forumotion from there as a friend had a forumotion site and a few of us pals from FF started hanging around her site. Site lasted about two years. Sadly inactive now but I've been an active member of many forums since then. Mostly in the interest of RPing.

Somebody recruited me on a serebii chatroom and that's how I got into my first forum.

I got into forums back in 2004, when I was 14.
I don't remember what the first forum was, I just remember I joined up as Redspot and It had something about Teen Titans, whether it was a topic, a section on the forum.... but I'm almost positive it was not a Teen Titans forum. That was however, the first forum I ever joined.
There are other forums that I still know of that are still kicking, they are both Suikoden forums called Suikosource and Suikox. I joined them back in the end of 2004, and they are still alive. (Barely, but still alive)

Around 2010 I was 14 years old. Lol I started with some game i used to play. It was a forum for a clan. Good old times.

I used to play a online game on Cartoonnetwork called "Mini Match" I don't know if you would count that as a forum. But it got closed down because people found a way to cuss on the chat. The words were censored so they used dashes,caps and lower case letters to spell out words they wanted to use.
