Mars was once like Earth, believe it or not. Scientist don't know if there were life-forms on Mars, but it was like Earth's twin sister. Mars had water, a north and south pole, land, clouds, oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, etc.. Then one day, a planet sized Asteroid hit the planet! It is still unconfirmed what actually hit it, but it was the size of Pluto (or bigger).

People say that Mars will rebuild itself, but that will take up to millions of years, maybe billions. God decides where we go, and he had us on Earth for a Damn REASON!

Before we have the technology of going out as far as Mars, we wont be able to send a ship back, so resources will be LOW. We will never be able to live a happy normal life on Mars, many people will be homeless and there is NO air on mars, so people will die and when we "arrive" there, there will already be people dead everywhere. And the Radiation on mars is WAY higher then anyplace on Earth.

And the world will end by then, because WW3 is coming up SOON!

We are already in dept, so we will never be able to have the money to build space stations with fuel, resources, etc.. and the space ships that will transport you there. And the spaceships wont be that big, so there will be a LOT of trips, and each trip will take TONS of fuel. And Earth is already running LOW on resources that we need to make fuel. But if we had Electric ran spaceships powered by Solar Power, then we could go out as far as Jupiter or Saturn, because we would have the energy from the sun to take us way far out.

Name your source for this piece of information.

Exaggeration, most of what Mars really needs is a heat source and the atmosphere would build up following that due to the huge solid carbon dioxide reserves which in turn would trap more heat.

Many people are homeless on Earth, I walk past homeless people on the streets begging for money everyday so, that isn't any different.
No air on Mars? That's where photosynthesis comes in and you're likely to be living in artifical biospheres for the first few decades or so depending on how long it takes to build up a good level of oxygen.
Said biospheres would be engineered to block out alot of the deadly radiation.

I've seen religious fanatics saying that "the end is nigh" for thousands of years and few countries actually have nuclear weapons.

Reverse wrote:

Correction: We are currently in debt, we would be out of dead by a couple decades time or so.
Countries have gone into recessions before over the course of the century and we already have a permanent space station. The international space station.

Reverse wrote:And the spaceships wont be that big, so there will be a LOT of trips, and each trip will take TONS of fuel.
The costs aren't actually as bad as you think, if the countries would just stop going to war for a while.
Sending people to Mars is currently about $6 billion or so then, they would build a settlement there.
By the time, more of us would be immigrating to Mars, the price would have come down even further with technological advances.

Humanity could probably get enough fuel from natural resources for another hundred years or so. The plans for a colony on Mars is set for about 2023.
The first commercial spaceship flights into orbit are set to launch around about this year.
Keep in mind that it takes about a year for a spaceship to get to Mars currently so, it would be quite the trip to go out of the inner solar system although, it's not impossible.

1st, I'm done repeating myself hundreds of times.

2nd,
Code:
Mars was once like Earth, believe it or not.  Scientist don't know if
there were life-forms on Mars, but it was like Earth's twin sister.
Mars had water, a north and south pole, land, clouds, oxygen, hydrogen,
carbon dioxide, etc..  Then one day, a planet sized Asteroid hit the
planet!  It is still unconfirmed what actually hit it, but it was the
size of Pluto (or bigger).

My cousin is an astrophysicist. I could get him on this site, but he works for D.C. so i can't really talk to him.

3rd,
Code:
People say that Mars will rebuild itself, but that will take up to
millions of years, maybe billions.  God decides where we go, and he had
us on Earth for a Damn REASON!

How in the hell is that exaggeration?

4th,

How would they build over 800,000 billion?
Since mars has no breathable air, and basically no air at all, how will plants survive? Plants must be alive to go threw photosynthesis!
and i'm sure it would take longer than a few decades.

5th,

Already and currently mean the same damn thing, dumb ass

6th,
Code:
The costs aren't actually as bad as you think, if the countries would just stop going to war for a while.
Sending people to Mars is currently about $6 billion or so then, they would build a settlement there.

It will take more than 6 billion, it will take about 100,000 thousand for every trip, and if you think about it, 1 trip up, 1 trip back, and that's what, carrying 100,000 people, and that's going to cost 200,000 thousand dollars. and with 800,000+ people on earth, that's going to be a LOT of trips.

And with the world we live in (with the terrorist) we will never stop fighting in a war, because we are fighting for this so called dream "World Peace".

7th, think realistic and don't be a damn dumb ass kid

You could say that your cousin is God and it wouldn't make that much of a difference.
Point me to a reliable source which backs up that theory as I haven't seen that theory before and I've been on this Mars bandwagon for years.

It's possible to do in a much shorter timeframe.
Granted, you still wouldn't see the end results in your lifetime.

800,000 billion? Where exactly are you pulling these statistics out of?
The current world population is more like seven billion.
Mar's atmosphere is 95% carbon dioxide, photosynthesis involves absorbing solar energy to convert the carbon dioxide into carbon and oxygen.
Please learn about the process of photosynthesis before lecturing me on whether it's possible on Mars on the basis of "no breathable air".

No need to make such insulting remarks, it's completely different things.
One implies that debt is permanent while the other implies that recessions happen in cycles.

It takes about $6 billion to get a few people on the rock, an organisation known as planetary resources (which has funding from our good "friend", Google) expects to be harvesting near-earth asteroids for resources by 2020 which would involve oxygen and hydrogen which is what we have for rocket fuel, I believe.

The majority of the costs involved is hauling up materials into orbit however, by building spaceships in orbit and harvesting asteroids, the prices would come down dramatically.

There's already a private project known as Mars One which is aiming to get people on Mars permanently by 2023 while NASA is working on doing it in the mid-2030s with Europe jumping on a mission to visit around 2020.

It's already begun, everything is currently being planned.

Hey, don't swear or insult anyone ! There are better ways to say something than to swear. What good does cussing do? Nothing. First warning Reverse, but you did leave a spoiler saying, " If i offended anyone in anyway, please pm me, so i can apologize " so I'll just let this slide. Apologize to Azareal if you haven't done so already.

Mars has a good position as it's quite close to the asteroid belt so, that could help significantly in future to help provide resources to humanity.

Additionally, Mars is much closer to the outer solar system than Earth so, gives closer access to places such as Jupiter's moons where one of them is said to harbour the conditions for life.
