School Violence - What are the real causes of violence and bullying in Schools?
A child who starts acting violently will often do so during periods of unstructured and unsupervised time. Juvenile-justice statistics show that, lacking after-school supervision, youth violence rises to above average rates between 3 and 7 p.m.
Any thoughts?
....
I feel a lot of kids are
addicted to computer games, game-boys, etc. that they are hyper a lot of
the time. Often kids are tired, they don't eat a proper lunch so blood
sugar is all over the place which can make them cranky and ready to act
more violently. I think so many are left with no parent supervision
and watching violent shows so much doesn't help. Also a lot of the
games they play are really violent.
